The name of this is on the picture, The Spirit of Nature!
It was inspirited by thoughts of creation and how we all
Have to use our hands to create and nature brings much
inspiration to many artists in our world.

Here is an updated retouch version, but I am still not happy with the shading and color, HOWEVER I am very happy with how the hair turned out!

By the way, the picture is good quality, it's the painting that is not lol...as I said I need to do more work on it,

Here is the more recent ;) Looking much better? I miss the flowy hair but painting around it was getting harder each time I added more paint. The wind affect is still there though :)

My name is Ann Marie, I am an artist. I have been drawing for as long as I can remember. I am a 33 year old stay at home mom, I draw and doodle some, randomly paint now and than when I am feeling inspired.

I'd like to note, that I really love digital painting, but as of right now I am unable to do any due to mine not working properly, so until I get it working properly again I will not be adding any new digital paintings. However, you will see some "old" digital paintings I have created.

I can remember when I first started drawing more and more, I can remember drawing purple, black and green tutu-ed Ballerinas and cutting them out after gluing them to a piece of cardboard from a cereal box when I was 6 and 7 years old. I even gave one to my grandmother she had it tacked to one of her paneling in her old house, she has pictures of it in her old albums while taking pictures of others standing by it so it just happened to be in the shot. ;-) I sure wish I had one copy for myself. Just to see how much I have improved after so many years.

I get this gift from both sides of my family, my father was a great artist but never did much with it, but always encouraged me to pursue it. Back than I wasn't fully confident enough to do so, I felt I was better at other creative/artistic skills. I like to sing too, I like to write, I like many different forms of art, really probably all forms. I guess you could say art is my nature, art is my natural born talent. I just recently started photography. Just for fun and as a hobby, if you'd like to see some of my Photography I will be added some of my best photographs here later!

So enjoy your time in my internet part of the world, to see one part of me that I enjoy, it is a hobby but I'd like to do more with it! 

I like to do my own websites as well. I find it challenging and depending on the challenge I like it, sometimes it has it's rewards, when you see the finished product.
